1. Application Time
(1) Undergraduates and postgraduate students can apply from March to June each year and enter school in September.
(2) Non-degree students may apply twice a year. Applicants that apply from March to June will enter school in September of the same year. Applicants that apply from September to December will enter school at the end of February or early March of the following year.
2. Application Method
(1) The applicants should contact the Department of International Students’ of Sichuan International Studies University by e-mail and telephone, and download the Admission Application Form for Foreign Students of Sichuan International Studies University from the website of International Students Department.
(2) The applicants should fill in the Admission Application Form for Foreign Student of Sichuan International Studies University and have physical examination in the hospital of their country.
(3) Please email the application form, physical examination record form and other required application materials to the International Students’ Department of Sichuan International Studies University. The Specific requirements can be checked from the website of the International Students’ Department.
(4) After examining and verifying the applicants’ admission qualifications, the university will send the “Admission Letter for Foreign Students from Sichuan International Studies University” and the “Visa Application for study in China” (JW202) to the applicants.
3. Enrollment Registration
(1) Upon receipt of the Admission Letter and Visa Application for study in China (JW202), students may go to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate to apply for the visas required in the Admission Letter.
(2) Students should hold the JW202 Form, the Admission Letter and passport at the time specified in the Admission Letter (those with study duration of more than six months must also hold the original “Foreigner Physical Examination Form” and the original blood test report.) and eight passport photos for entry and registration in the International Students’ Department of Sichuan International Studies University.
(3) Students should fulfill relevant procedures of registering and paying fees when entering school.
(4) At the time of entering school, undergraduates and postgraduate students should submit relevant papers, certificates and letters of recommendation for examination. Those who fail to pass the examination shall be disqualified or quit by school and leave the country within a specified period of time.
